located about 30-minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, the muir beach overlook is a popular stop for people visiting the nearby Muir Woods. on a clear day, the walk from the parking lot to the octagon at the end of the trail is quite beautiful. there are also nice vistas within walking distance for photos after the proposal.
